Sweet sticky rice soup

For rice balls:
1 cup glutinous rice flour

For broth:
2 cups water
1 piece ginger (2 tablespoons)
1 stick cane sugar

To make rice balls, put rice flour into mixing bowl. Gradually add 1/2 cup water into the flour. Mix with chopsticks or fork. Knead the flour with hands for 1 to 2 minutes. Tear into small pieces and roll between palms into balls. Recipe make 15 large balls or 30 small balls.

To make broth, put 2 cups of water into pot. Add ginger and cane sugar and bring to boil. Add rice balls use spoon to make sure rice balls don't stick to bottom of pot. When rice balls float to the top, they are ready to eat. Check to see if cane sugar is completely dissolves. If you do not have cane sugar, you can substitute 3 to 6 tablespoons honey. This recipe makes 2 to 3 servings. Enjoy!!!
